Olfactory Signals made its debut at MATTER and SHAPE 2026.

We presented CO_LAB Breath of One Many, a collaborative installation by pioneering smell researcher Sissel Tolaas and architect Octave Perrault.

Tolaas, whose practice integrates chemistry and sensory studies, joins Perrault, founder of the practice Zeroth and developer of "the next generation of climate control solutions for architecture", to explore scent as a collective, evolving sensory field. Through an air network, the installation dissolves distinctions between brands and individuals, transforming breath into a unified, living presence.
